Summary
Build and operate secure, highly automated on-prem private-cloud infrastructure for RUAG, a Swiss company supporting the Armed Forces. Day to day: Linux and Kubernetes systems, Terraform/Ansible automation, CI/CD security integration, and SIEM-based monitoring and incident response. Swiss citizenship required.

- Design, implement and operate secure and highly automated infrastructure in an on-premise private cloud
- Build and maintain Linux-based systems and Kubernetes environments
- Deploy and operate security monitoring and detection solutions, including SIEM platforms
- Support the investigation and handling of security incidents and continuously improve detection capabilities
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Integrate security measures into CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
- Strengthen infrastructure security through system hardening, vulnerability management and access controls
- Analyze and resolve technical issues across infrastructure, networks and applications
What you should bring with you
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or equivalent practical experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux systems and infrastructure engineering
- Experience in security monitoring, threat detection, SIEM or incident response
- Good understanding of networking, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing and firewalls
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of automation and scripting tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Python or Bash
- Familiarity with infrastructure security, vulnerability management and system hardening
- Analytical mindset, structured way of working and strong problem-solving skills
- Swiss citizenship required
