Job Description
CASABOT is looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to build, secure, automate, and scale the infrastructure behind our products and platforms. This role is for someone who is strong in cloud infrastructure, security, containers, Kubernetes, databases, and operational reliability, and who can embed security thinking into every stage of delivery.
You will be responsible for designing and managing secure, scalable, and resilient environments across development, staging, and production. The ideal candidate combines hands‑on infrastructure engineering with strong operational discipline and a proactive security mindset.
Role Overview
As a DevSecOps Engineer at CASABOT, you will lead the implementation of secure cloud infrastructure, CI/CD enablement, container orchestration, system hardening, backup strategies, scaling policies, and platform observability. You should be comfortable working across AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Linux administration, MongoDB, and event-driven infrastructure such as Kafka.
This role is critical to ensuring that CASABOT systems are secure, reliable, scalable, and production-ready.

Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering
- Strong hands‑on experience with AWS
- Solid experience with containers and Docker
- Strong practical experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code
- Strong background in Linux administration
- Experience implementing infrastructure and platform security controls
- Experience setting up or managing Kafka
- Experience with MongoDB operations, backups, and performance management
- Experience designing and maintaining database backup and restore strategies
- Knowledge of auto-scaling, load handling, and production reliability practices
- Strong understanding of networking, access control, secrets management, and system hardening
- Experience troubleshooting production infrastructure and distributed systems
- Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and alerting frameworks
- Strong documentation and incident response discipline
- Good communication skills and ability to work closely with engineering teams
