DevOps Engineer - Cloud, Automation & AI
Summary
DevOps engineer (7+ yrs) working fully onsite in Pittsburgh at a client location: hands-on cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker/Kubernetes, Terraform IaC, CI/CD, Linux scripting, monitoring/observability, plus supporting and deploying AI services. Max $120K/year, five days per week in office.

Work Arrangement: Onsite five days per week. Candidates must be able to commute to the Pittsburgh client location.
Required Qualifications
· Minimum 7 years of relevant engineering experience , including substantial hands-on DevOps, cloud, and automation experience.
· Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud .
· Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes .
· Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform or an equivalent tool .
· Strong CI/CD experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI .
· Proficiency in Linux administration, Git, and scripting using Python, Bash, or PowerShell .
· Working knowledge of networking, DNS, TLS, load balancing, and cloud access controls.
· Experience with monitoring and logging platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or cloud-native equivalents .
· Experience with production troubleshooting, incident management, release controls, and recovery procedures.
· Practical experience supporting AI-enabled applications or deploying AI services, including secure credentials, observability, and cost controls.
· Practical use of GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, or Claude for engineering and automation.

· Excellent verbal and written communication, strong interpersonal skills, and a pleasant, professional demeanor.
· Ability to communicate operational risks clearly and collaborate effectively with client stakeholders.
