Job Description:
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate has strong experience in Linux/Unix administration, cloud platforms, automation, containerization, and CI/CD practices.
You will work closely with development and operations teams to improve deployment processes, enhance system reliability, automate infrastructure management, and ensure secure and efficient application delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Linux/Unix-based systems and cloud infrastructure.
- Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, Go, or Ruby to streamline operational tasks.
- Design and manage cloud environments using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Monitor system performance using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
- Collaborate using Git-based development workflows.
- Apply security best practices, including vulnerability scanning and network security fundamentals.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong experience in Linux/Unix system administration.
- Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python, Bash, Go, or Ruby.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience managing infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience creating and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
- Familiarity with Git version control.
- Understanding of security fundamentals and network protocols.
- Experience supporting large-scale cloud environments.
- Background in automation, infrastructure engineering, or site reliability engineering (SRE).
- Relevant cloud or DevOps certifications are a plus.
