DevOps Engineer / Cloud Engineer

Role Description

We are seeking technically skilled and detail-oriented professionals for the positions of DevOps Engineer / Cloud Engineer. These roles focus on infrastructure automation, cloud computing, deployment optimization, system reliability, and the development of scalable technology environments. As a DevOps Engineer, you will contribute to streamlining software development and deployment processes by improving collaboration between development, testing, and operations teams. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment workflows, managing configuration environments, and monitoring application performance. You will collaborate with software developers, quality assurance teams, and infrastructure specialists to improve release reliability and reduce manual operational tasks. Additional duties may include troubleshooting deployment failures, managing version control workflows, implementing infrastructure automation, maintaining monitoring systems, and supporting containerized applications. You will also help improve system availability, strengthen operational security, and establish consistent practices for software delivery and infrastructure management.

As a Cloud Engineer, you will focus on designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure and services. Responsibilities include configuring cloud resources, managing virtual environments, monitoring system performance, and supporting the availability and scalability of cloud applications. You will work closely with IT teams, software engineers, and security specialists to implement reliable cloud solutions that meet technical and business requirements. Additional duties may include managing cloud storage, configuring networks, supporting backup and recovery procedures, optimizing resource utilization, and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure issues. You will also contribute to cloud security, access management, cost optimization, and the continuous improvement of cloud architecture and operational practices.

Both positions require accurate technical documentation, effective communication, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. Successful candidates will contribute to reliable deployments, scalable infrastructure, efficient development workflows, and secure cloud services while supporting organizational objectives and maintaining professional engineering standards.

Qualifications

• A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong understanding of operating systems, networking fundamentals, system administration, and infrastructure management.
• Familiarity with Linux, scripting languages, version control systems, and troubleshooting tools.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, configuration management, and software delivery practices is beneficial.
• Understanding of cloud computing concepts, virtualization, networking, storage, and resource management.
• Familiarity with platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud is an advantage.
• Knowledge of containers, orchestration tools, infrastructure as code, or configuration automation is beneficial.
• Understanding of monitoring, logging, backup procedures, disaster recovery, and system reliability.
• Awareness of cloud security, identity and access management, encryption, and cost optimization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and technical documentation tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning and technical excellence.
