DevOps Engineer: Cloud Infra, CI/CD & Security

The DevOps Engineer is tasked to set up and manage development tools and infrastructure. Provide technical support in operating and maintaining IT assets in all company activities/ production to ensure the smooth flow of events.

KEY RESULT AREAS:

• Manage cloud infrastructure and Linux servers primarily in DigitalOcean; support Azure/AWS as needed.

• Manage DNS/domain records, SSL/TLS certificates, renewals, subdomains, redirects, firewalls, and load balancers.

• Set up and maintain deployment processes/CI/CD pipelines using Git and coordinate releases with web developers.

• Monitor uptime, logs, resource usage, backups, and alerts; troubleshoot server/application issues and incidents.

• Apply security best practices, including access control, secrets handling, patching, vulnerability mitigation, and backup/recovery.

• Maintain documentation for servers, access handover, domains, SSL renewals, and production troubleshooting.

• Review infrastructure usage to optimize cost, performance, reliability, and production/event support.

KEY COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

• Linux system administration, networking, DNS, SSL/TLS, and cloud infrastructure knowledge.

• DigitalOcean experience; knowledgeable in Azure and AWS knowledge preferred.

• Familiarity with Nginx/Apache, Git, CI/CD tools, Bash/Python scripting, and deployment troubleshooting.

• Understanding of Docker/Kubernetes concepts and monitoring/logging tools is an advantage.

• Security-minded, proactive, flexible, and able to communicate with developers, co-workers, vendors, and clients.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• College graduate preferably in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related course; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.

• At least 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, server administration, DevOps support, or related role.

• Hands-on experience with DigitalOcean/Linux servers, DNS/domain management, and SSL certificate management.
