DevOps Engineer

Summary

Design, automate, and maintain cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable, scalable software delivery using Azure, AWS, or GCP.


Job Description:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between development and operations, automating processes, enhancing system reliability, and enabling the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or similar position
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools including Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates
  • Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
  • Strong Linux administration, scripting, and automation skills using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar
  • Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and observability solutions such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack, or Datadog
  • Knowledge of networking, security, system reliability, and performance optimisation principles
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Experience working within Agile and DevOps-driven environments

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • Relevant cloud certifications such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud certifications are advantageous
  • DevOps, Kubernetes, Terraform, or other infrastructure automation certifications will be beneficial
