DevOps Engineer – Crypto Trading

As a DevOps Engineer in our high-profile trading setup, you design and operate production infrastructure to support low-latency algo trading. You will work across cloud and on-prem environments to ensure reliable, scalable services and data pipelines. You’ll implement IaC, build cross-data-centre networks, and enhance monitoring and instrumentation to enable fast, data-driven decisions. This role offers exposure to Direct Market Access and High Frequency Trading, with a collaborative, open culture that rewards technologists who ship robust systems.

• Design production infrastructure
• Set up and maintain environments in cloud and/or on premises
• Architect, engineer and deploy low latency network infrastructure across multiple data centres
• Write and maintain cloud infrastructure scripts (infrastructure as code)
• Assist in debugging and resolving production operational issues
• Ensure proper monitoring and log collection/aggregation, add instrumentation as needed
• Create and maintain data pipelines/ETL for self-service data access

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science/engineering or related fields
• Proven hands-on experience in a DevOps role
• Strong analytical skills including debugging complex systems
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Network engineering and project delivery experience
• Extensive experience with Apache Kafka
• Programming skills in Java and Python
• Cloud computing experience - AWS
• Experience with Docker containerization
• Knowledge of Git VCS
• Shell and Linux administration knowledge
