Contract DevOps Engineer at Cubixsol (Pakistan) who provisions and secures Linux servers and cloud hosting, builds CI/CD pipelines for Laravel, Node.js, and React apps, containerizes with Docker, and keeps backups, monitoring, SSL/DNS, and server security healthy.
You will set up reliable hosting and deployment for the applications we build, automate releases and keep live systems healthy. This is a contract role.
Responsibilities
- Provision and secure Linux servers and cloud hosting
- Build CI/CD pipelines for Laravel, Node.js and React applications
- Containerise applications with Docker
- Set up backups, monitoring, logging and alerts
- Keep SSL, DNS, email deliverability and server security in order
- Help developers troubleshoot performance and deployment problems
Requirements
- 3+ years of Linux server administration or DevOps work
- Experience with AWS, DigitalOcean or a similar cloud provider
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD (for example GitHub Actions)
- Nginx or Apache configuration, SSL and DNS
- Shell scripting
Nice to have
- Kubernetes or Terraform
- cPanel or Plesk hosting experience
- MySQL and MongoDB administration
