DevOps Engineer (d/f/m)
… mid-level DevOps Engineer? You will help us ensure that we meet our customers' high-scale demands. As part of our Product Engineering team, you will work closely with product delivery teams to improve all aspects of our SaaS platform: deployment processes, reliability, availability, performance, tooling, engineering team happiness, and security.

- Help design, build, and maintain a cloud-based infrastructure consisting of a variety of self-hosted and managed services on a major European cloud provider
- Partner closely with product delivery teams to help them deliver their services and products faster and with more confidence - bridging the gap between development and production
- Contribute to developer experience: improve our tooling, automation, performance, and metrics visibility so that engineers can focus on what they do best
- Help continuously improve our high-availability setup so that nothing we can foresee can take us down (no single points of failure)
- Support and refine our monitoring so that we are among the first to know if anything goes wrong
- Take part in on-call rotations to ensure fast response times when incidents happen and help us prepare for real incidents through controlled tests and emergency drills
- Test our high availability in a controlled environment and mock emergency situations so that we are prepared for real incidents
- Experience deploying and monitoring web applications, ideally with Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL
- Comfortable with Linux, shell scripting and the command line
- Hands-on experience with a cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform)
- Experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines
- Genuine interest in developer experience, you enjoy making tooling, pipelines, and processes better for the team
- Collaborative mindset and a commitment to a supportive team culture
- Clear, empathetic communicator who'd rather over- than under-communicate
- Background in Software Engineering
