The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, Kubernetes, observability, and infrastructure as code. You will work closely with engineering, SRE, QA, and product teams to build scalable, secure, and resilient cloud platforms powering next-generation digital products. This role requires someone who thrives in fast-paced product environments and can drive automation, reliability, and operational excellence across distributed systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines for microservices and cloud-native applications.
- Manage and optimise Kubernetes-based container orchestration platforms.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Build and maintain cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS/GCP/Azure environments.
- Improve system reliability, scalability, performance, and security across environments.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or Splunk.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline release cycles and deployment strategies.
- Drive DevSecOps best practices, including secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance automation.
- Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and support incident management.
- Optimise infrastructure costs and improve platform efficiency.
- Contribute to automation initiatives for deployments, testing, scaling, and recovery processes.
Requirements:
- 4-6 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering roles.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and containerised environments.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Good understanding of Linux systems, networking, and scripting (Bash/Python).
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or Splunk.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Understanding of security best practices in cloud-native environments.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum-based engineering teams.
Good to Have:
- Exposure to SRE practices, including SLIs/SLOs and incident response management.
- Experience with service mesh technologies like Istio.
- Knowledge of serverless architectures and event-driven systems.
- Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure or MLOps pipelines is a plus.
- Relevant cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP/Kubernetes) preferred.
