DevOps Engineer | Digital&IPA (freelance)

Overview

Join to apply for the DevOps in Digital& team (freelance) role at PwC Polska. At PwC, our people in data and analytics focus on leveraging data to drive insights and make informed business decisions. The Digital& team comprises almost 400 people and is responsible for IT projects for Polish and international clients, including financial institutions. We are currently looking for a DevOps Engineer.

Responsibilities

  • Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure (CI/CD pipeline implementation)
  • Implementing AI workflows into CI/CD pipelines to improve development and release processes
  • Implementing IaC solutions based on project requirements (Terraform / Bicep)
  • Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes
  • Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended

Qualifications

  • Strong and comprehensive knowledge of Linux systems and deploying applications on Kubernetes (Helm, Ingress, etc.)
  • Expert knowledge on delivering scalable, resilient and automated builds in local and cloud environments using Azure DevOps for high-quality pipelines
  • Expertise and practical knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
  • Detailed knowledge and experience in networking components, protocols and security (Subnet, Firewalls, Routing, DNS, HTTP, TLS/SSL, etc.)
  • Expert knowledge on patching and upgrading of different platforms (security vulnerabilities like SSL/TLS shortcomings, certificates and cipher strengths)
  • Practical experience with Azure (preferred), AWS or Google Cloud
  • Knowledge of scripting to automate day-to-day tasks
  • Experience: 2-3 years

Nice to Have

  • Certifications from a top cloud provider (Azure / AWS / GCP)
  • Azure solution architect expert (AZ-305) certificate
  • Understanding vulnerability scanning using tools like Veracode, Qualys or similar
