We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a team working for a leading international organisation in the banking and financial services sector.

In this role, you will be responsible for automating infrastructure and deployment processes, developing CI/CD solutions, and working with cloud technologies, particularly Google Cloud Platform.

If you have hands-on experience with GCP, Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, and strong scripting skills in Python and Bash, we would be happy to hear from you!

Your responsibilities

• Automating infrastructure, deployment, and operational processes
• Developing automation scripts and tools using Python, Bash, and Groovy
• Designing, developing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Working with Jenkins and Ansible Tower / Ansible
• Managing infrastructure using Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
• Working with Google Cloud Platform, including:
  • GKE
  • GCE
  • Vertex AI
  • BigQuery
  • Cloud Composer
• Supporting and maintaining cloud-based environments
• Collaborating closely with development, infrastructure, and other technical teams
• Troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure and deployment-related issues
• Working with Data / Big Data technologies, including Airflow and Hadoop
• Working with SQL and data processing solutions
• Supporting solutions related to networking
• Working with Elasticsearch for data/log search and analysis
• Contributing to the continuous improvement and automation of DevOps processes

Requirements

• Previous experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or in a similar role
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Strong knowledge of Terraform
• Practical experience with Ansible / Ansible Tower
• Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD processes
• Good programming/scripting skills in Python and Bash
• Knowledge of Groovy will be an advantage
• Experience with Airflow / Cloud Composer
• Knowledge of BigQuery and SQL
• Familiarity with Hadoop
• Experience with Elasticsearch
• Understanding of networking concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good command of English, enabling effective communication in an international environment
