Your role
As a DevOps Engineer, you'll join our technology team in Helsinki and work closely with developers to build, operate and evolve our cloud platform. This is a hands‑on engineering role where you'll work with Linux‑based production environments, container technologies and a modern private cloud infrastructure built on microservices. You'll help improve automation, reliability and monitoring capabilities while supporting distributed IoT solutions used across the Nordics.
What you'll be doing
- Build, maintain and optimize containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes/Docker Swarm
- Maintain and troubleshoot primarily Linux‑based production environments, while also supporting Windows systems when needed
- Monitor, investigate and improve platform reliability using tools such as ELK Stack, Prometheus and similar technologies
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab to enable reliable and automated deployments
- Improve infrastructure automation, security and operational best practices
- Collaborate closely with software developers in an Agile environment to support application delivery
- Support the continuous evolution of our cloud platform as our products and customer base grow.
What we're looking for
- 3–5+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or a similar role
- Strong hands‑on experience with Docker and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes or Docker Swarm
- Solid Linux administration and scripting skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, GitHub Actions or Jenkins
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions such as ELK Stack, Prometheus or Zabbix
- A good understanding of networking, infrastructure and production environments
- Professional working proficiency in English
Additional desirable experience
- DevSecOps and infrastructure security
- Web servers (nginx or Apache)
- Reverse and forward proxies
- Load balancers such as HAProxy, Cloudflare or F5 BIG‑IP
- Microservices architectures
- Programming with technologies such as Node.js, PHP or JavaScript
- Finnish and/or Swedish language skills
