Overview

In this role you will design, automate and operate the platform infrastructure for a fintech client, focusing on a scalable CD pipeline and production environments. You will lead automation efforts across OS builds, deployment pipelines and platform components, partnering with cross-functional teams to support blue-chip financial services clients. You’ll work on next-generation infrastructure, monitoring, and capacity planning in a senior, technically leadership capacity. This position offers high-visibility projects and rapid progression within a merit-driven culture.

Responsibilities
  • Design, delivery, automation, operations and management of platform servers (physical and virtual)
  • Develop and maintain the next-generation infrastructure
  • Design, deliver and manage platform storage and capacity planning
  • Implement and operate end-to-end platform monitoring systems
  • Develop operating system build processes
  • Automate the continuous delivery pipeline and related infrastructure components
  • Support production environments and ensure reliability
Key requirements
  • 3–5 years Linux systems administration
  • Extensive experience with Jenkins and continuous deployment
  • Experience in AWS; certified preferred
  • Scripting: PowerShell, Python, Ruby
  • Automation/configuration tools: Ansible, Puppet, Chef
  • Good Linux knowledge; Groovy/Java experience
  • Experience with microservices architecture
  • Microsoft platforms: Windows Server 2008R2/2012R2, IIS 7/8
  • Enterprise server estates including blade systems and high-density servers
  • Cloud platforms (IaaS/PaaS) experience
