Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end product installation and deployment cycles on client premises, ensuring smooth handoffs between internal engineering teams and onsite infrastructure.
  • Manage and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure across multi-cloud environments (Azure, OCI Public or OCI Dedicated Region), assisting with provisioning, configuration, and environment setup.
  • Monitor system health, application uptime, and infrastructure performance; elevate and coordinate incident resolution with internal teams.
  • Execute and support CI/CD pipeline operations, releases, patches, and version upgrades on site.
  • Maintain infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, deployment scripts, and runbooks in coordination with the central DevOps.
  • Coordinate network security and access configurations required for onsite deployments (firewalls, VPN, certificates, etc.).
  • Support backup, disaster recovery, and failover procedures according to organizational policies.
  • Document infrastructure changes, deployment steps, and incident resolutions for audit and knowledge sharing.
  • Liaise with onsite IT infrastructure teams to resolve environment-specific dependencies or blockers.
  • Participate in on-call onsite support rotations as required.

Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
  • Hands‑on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure or OCI strongly preferred); knowledge of a second cloud platform is a plus.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar).
  • Strong Linux administration and scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent).
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals, firewalls, VPNs, and certificate management.
  • Prior experience working onsite at client/enterprise environments, comfortable being the primary technical point of contact.
  • Strong troubleshooting and incident‑response mindset with good communication skills to coordinate across internal and onsite stakeholders.
  • Willingness to work from client premises full‑time and adapt to enterprise IT policies/security requirements.
  • Relevant cloud certification (Azure Administrator/Architect, OCI Associate/Professional) preferred.
