DevOps Engineer (French Speaker)

Location: Montreéal – Downtown – 6 days per month in Montreéal (Hybrid)

Duration: 4+ months with possible extension - 37.5 h/week

15+ years of experience in IT as a developer, including 8+ years as a DevOps engineer
Bachelor's degree in IT or computer engineering
Experience in automated deployment of robust solutions with a major cloud provider (Azure, GCP, AWS)
Experience delivering solutions on Kubernetes
Strong expertise in cloud networking, including WAF, DNS, and DDoS
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployment (Terraform)
Excellent skills in CI/CD pipeline automation (GitHub, ArgoCD, GitOps, SonarQube)
Strong proficiency in C#, Java, and related frameworks
Strong understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns for delivery automation (microservices, event-driven architecture, streaming)
Expertise in operational database technologies, both relational and non-relational (SQL, NoSQL, caching)
Understanding of SaaS integration principles
Language: French-speaking

Experience deploying identity solutions (IAM / CIAM) for both customer users and internal contributors to technology platforms

Act as the lead for industrialization and automation of deployment for metropolitan mobility solutions, based on your expertise
Actively contribute to feasibility, design, and implementation phases of various software development and integration projects, while respecting industry standards for solution, infrastructure, and software architecture
Define and recommend secure, reliable, and high-performance IT solutions that meet business needs
Promote reuse of proven solutions to optimize service quality and operations
Act as an expert advisor and subject matter expert in your domain, and serve as a resource and coach for senior leadership and junior staff
Actively participate in and lead solution experimentation, as well as the deployment of cloud environments required for system delivery
Perform quality assurance of architectural documentation aligned with the IT strategic plan
Design technological infrastructures considering functional needs, scalability, performance, and security requirements
Work closely with managed service providers to ensure delivery of high-performing infrastructure
Participate in diagnosing and resolving complex operational issues 24/7
Participate in risk analysis and cost-benefit assessments
