Our team has a background in scaling software to millions of users and successfully disrupting industries, creating Unicorn's and Decacorn's along the way. We combine the advantages of an early-stage start-up with the ability to focus on creating high-quality, high-impact systems, without the distraction of fundraising.
We are looking for a DevOps engineer to join the team, one who understands the reality of pace and ability needed to build genuine products that scale. Please show success in your past positions.
Must Haves
- Any experience working with tech that is genuinely scaling.
- ComSci or related degree.
- Familiarity with the modern AWS stack (from S3 to IAM, to Cognito, to ECS)
- Reasonable programming ability in modern Python
- Shell scripting
- Extensive experience in modern CI systems, ideally Gitlab
Nice to Have
- Terraform / other IAC
- Deep familiarity with Linux
- SRE experience (on-calls, incident management, post-mortems)
- Nix, ideally with custom derivations, Flakes, and cross-building
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience running in AWS ECS in production
