As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in modernizing development workflows, supporting application delivery pipelines, and implementing DevOps best practices across multiple projects. A major focus of this role will be leading Bitbucket-to-GitHub migration initiatives while ensuring minimal disruption to development teams and business operations. You will work closely with software developers, architects, QA engineers, and project stakeholders to streamline development processes, improve deployment reliability, and enhance software quality. The successful candidate will possess strong experience in source code management, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and custom product development environments. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute Bitbucket to GitHub migration projects, including repository assessment, planning, migration, validation, and post-migration support.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated software delivery.
- Manage GitHub repositories, branching strategies, workflows, permissions, and governance policies.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve application deployment processes and release management practices.
- Support custom product development initiatives through DevOps tooling and automation.
- Implement version control best practices across software development teams.
- Automate build, testing, deployment, and monitoring processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments.
- Ensure security, compliance, and governance requirements are incorporated into DevOps workflows.
- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and infrastructure configurations.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience working as a DevOps Engineer within enterprise or product development environments.
- Strong hands‑on experience with GitHub administration and repository management.
- Demonstrated experience executing Bitbucket to GitHub migration projects.
- Experience supporting custom software product development and engineering teams.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts, tools, and deployment automation.
- Expertise in source code management, version control workflows, and branching strategies.
- Experience implementing DevOps best practices across development lifecycles.
