Role Overview
You will join a newly formed engineering unit responsible for delivering Straight‑Through Processing (STP) capabilities for loan operations. The team is building automation and orchestration layers from the ground up, with a strong focus on reliability, observability, and CI/CD maturity.
You will work in a highly collaborative Agile environment, partnering with developers, Business SMEs, and Product Owners to design and implement automated workflows that support loan origination and servicing at scale.
Core Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, container‑based infrastructure supporting loan processing
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Bamboo and Argo CD
Implement automation for end‑to‑end loan workflows, integrating multiple internal systems
Configure and maintain observability stack: Prometheus/Grafana, SysDig, Splunk
Improve system performance, reliability, and deployment consistency
Contribute to infrastructure design decisions, architecture discussions, and operational standards
Tech Stack
Containerization & Orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker
CI/CD: Bamboo, Argo Workflows / ArgoCD
Monitoring & Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, SysDig, Splunk
Data & Scripting: SQL, Bash/Python/other scripting languages
Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads
Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and pipeline automation
Experience with monitoring, alerting, and distributed system diagnostics
Proficiency in scripting and SQL
Ability to work in Agile, cross‑functional engineering teams
English at C1 level
Nice to Have
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
Background in financial services, especially loan processing
Advanced knowledge of container orchestration patterns
Experience designing automation for complex business workflows
