Summary
HCLTech is hiring a DevOps Engineer in Singapore to operate and automate production AWS infrastructure day to day — Terraform-based provisioning, EC2/EKS workloads, VPC/ALB/NLB networking and IAM — backed by strong Linux and scripting (Python/Bash) skills. Exposure to regulated, high-availability environments (MAS TRM/SOC 2) and SRE practices is a plus.
Mandatory skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in IT/Computer Science/Computer Engineering or relevant discipline
- 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles
- Strong hands-on experience operating AWS in production.
- Mandatory experience with Terraform for infrastructure management.
- Experience with EC2, EKS, AWS networking (VPC, ALB/NLB), and IAM.
- Strong Linux and troubleshooting fundamentals.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (e.g. Python, Bash) for automation.
Good to have:
- AWS professional certifications
- Experience working in regulated or high‑availability environments.
- Direct exposure to MAS TRM and/or SOC 2 audits.
- Familiarity with SRE concepts such as SLIs/SLOs.
Non-Technical / Soft Skills:
- Good teamwork
- Good interpersonal and negotiation skill, working independently is essential
