DevOps Engineer-I
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled DevOps Engineer I to join our Cloud Platform team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud operations. The role involves supporting and improving cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, observability, platform reliability, and automation initiatives. The candidate should be comfortable working in regulated or closed‑network environments and supporting modern data platform services running on GCP.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support GCP infrastructure and platform services.
- Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot workloads on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation(Gitlab and ArgoCD).
- Monitor platform health, performance, and availability.
- Implement cloud security and operational best practices.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and application issues.
- Support data platform services and cloud-native integrations.
- Participate in incident response and root cause analysis activities.
- Contribute to cloud cost optimization initiatives.
- Work closely with development, data engineering, and platform teams.
