Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a DevOps Engineer to join the ZPE Systems team in Blumenau, SC - Brazil. We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to support infrastructure reliability, automation, and operational
excellence initiatives. This role is ideal for an engineer looking to grow their technical expertise in cloud
infrastructure, CI/CD automation, observability, and platform security while developing an SRE mindset
and contributing to DevSecOps practices. You will work closely with senior engineers and development
teams in a collaborative environment that values learning and continuous improvement.
What Will You Do?
- Support the implementation and maintenance of cloud infrastructure and platform services
- Monitor system reliability, availability, and performance; investigate anomalies and participate in
root cause analysis - Help troubleshoot and respond to incidents; contribute to post-mortems and follow-through on
action items - Apply SRE principles (SLIs, SLOs, error budgets) to help teams track and improve reliability
- Support observability practices — metrics, logs, and tracing — and help maintain dashboards and
alerting configurations - Contribute to CI/CD pipeline implementation, maintenance and improvement
- Support infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code tools
- Support security best practices, including vulnerability remediation and access control
management - Participate in operational automation initiatives to reduce manual tasks
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment reliability and efficiency
- Maintain technical documentation for infrastructure, automation workflows, and operational
procedures - Assist with routine platform maintenance, upgrades, and patch management
- Learn and apply DevOps, SRE, and security best practices under mentorship from senior
engineers - Participate in on-call rotations or operational support activities as appropriate
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, platform, systems engineering or related technical roles
- Familiarity with SRE principles — SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and reliability-focused thinking
- Familiarity with containers and containerized environments (Docker; Kubernetes exposure is a plus)
- Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider — AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Scripting experience in at least one language (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP, load balancing concepts)
- Exposure to version control systems (Git)
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and automation workflows
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues methodically and communicate findings clearly
- Strong willingness to learn infrastructure, reliability, and security engineering practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible)
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices — least privilege, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, or compliance basics
- Personal, academic, or open-source projects involving automation or cloud infrastructure
- Any relevant certification is a plus (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Google Associate Cloud Engineer, CKA/CKAD, Terraform Associate, ISC2 CC, etc.)

- Containers: Docker, Kubernetes (basic exposure preferred)
- IaC: Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible (basic familiarity)
