Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer who goes beyond standard deployment tasks. In this role, you will take ownership of our cloud environments—primarily AWS, Vercel, and RackSpace—ensuring our deployments are seamless, secure, and highly efficient. A core part of your mission will be to audit and manage our AWS resources, finding opportunities to optimize and minimize current footprints while architecting a foundation that can scale robustly for future growth. You will frequently need to reverse engineer existing setups, untangle complex architectural challenges, and design optimal solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Deployment Management: Lead and execute reliable deployment strategies across multiple platforms (AWS, Vercel, RackSpace) for our flagship products.
- Resource Optimization: Conduct comprehensive audits of our AWS environments to identify inefficiencies, minimize resource sprawl, and optimize operational costs without sacrificing performance.
- Scalability Architecture: Design and implement forward-looking infrastructure solutions that allow our platforms to scale seamlessly as business demands increase.
- Reverse Engineering & Problem Solving: Dive deep into existing configurations and legacy setups to reverse engineer systems, identify bottlenecks, and determine robust, long-term technical solutions.
- Systems Monitoring & Reliability: Establish best practices for monitoring, alerting, and maintaining the high availability of our enterprise platforms.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience in DevOps, Cloud Architecture, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Deep, hands-on expertise with AWS (Architecture, deployment, cost optimization, and resource management).
- Solid experience working with Vercel and RackSpace environments.
- Strong analytical mindset with a demonstrated ability to reverse engineer complex systems and troubleshoot architectural challenges.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and modern deployment automation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business solutions.
