DevOps Engineer (Infrastructure)
Summary
Contract DevOps Engineer focused on designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions), automating infrastructure with Terraform/Ansible, and supporting cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP. Day to day involves monitoring system performance, troubleshooting, and improving deployment reliability.
Role: Dev Ops Engineer (Infrastructure) Location: Remote Job Type: Contract Payout: $20 - $70/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or Git Hub Actions.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to implement Dev Ops best practices and enhance deployment efficiency.
- Support cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring scalability and cost optimization.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline design and automation tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or Git Hub Actions.
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Cloud Formation.
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Power Shell.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices in cloud environments.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
