DevOps Engineer
Summary
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and developer tooling using GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform to streamline software delivery.
Monthly Salary (MXN): $65,000 - $87,940.28
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines to enable scalable and reliable software delivery
- Build and maintain developer tooling and build systems (Nx, Maven, GitHub Actions)
- Automate workflows across cloud and on‑prem/in‑store environments
- Optimize build, test, and deployment processes to improve speed and reliability
- Troubleshoot issues related to pipelines, deployments, and system integrations
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve developer experience and release efficiency
- Drive best practices for version control, pipeline standardization, and DevOps maturity
MUST HAVES:
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Software Engineering
- Strong daily use of AI tools: Copilot and Gemini
- Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred)
- Core Skills – Git fundamentals, YAML, CICD concepts, Bash, Github Actions
- Experience supporting frontend‑based applications and services
- Familiarity with cloud environments
- GCP
- Exposure to containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Spinnaker - deployment mechanism for all of the cloud
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform or similar)
- Strong understanding of Git workflows and version control systems
Plusses:
- Experience with Nx, React/Angular/Java/Python
