DevOps Engineer

Summary

iRely is hiring a DevOps Engineer for our Makati, Philippines office!

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the availability, scalability, security, and operational reliability of iRely's software platforms and supporting infrastructure. If you're passionate about automation, cloud technologies, and building resilient systems, we'd love to hear from you.

This role will design and manage cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, monitoring, disaster recovery, and automation practices that support highly available enterprise software solutions. Working closely with Development, QA, Product, and Architecture teams, this individual will help build and maintain modern cloud-based platforms utilizing React, TypeScript, C#, PostgreSQL, Azure, and multi-tenant SaaS architectures.

Success in this role will be measured by system reliability, deployment quality, recovery readiness, operational efficiency, and overall platform stability.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Reliability & Operations

  • Design, maintain, and optimize highly available cloud infrastructure that supports business-critical software applications.
  • Implement monitoring, disaster recovery, backup, failover, and operational readiness processes.
  • Ensure platform performance, scalability, security, and reliability.

CI/CD & Automation

  • Design and maintain automated deployment pipelines and Infrastructure as Code solutions.
  • Develop automation that improves deployment consistency, operational efficiency, and platform reliability.
  • Support deployment strategies that minimize downtime and reduce operational risk.

Cloud, Containers & Databases

  • Manage Azure infrastructure, containerized workloads, and supporting platform services.
  • Support PostgreSQL database environments, including performance, availability, backup, and recovery processes.
  • Optimize infrastructure, database performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Monitoring, Security & Incident Response

  • Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.
  • Support incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure platform security through access controls, secrets management, vulnerability monitoring, and security best practices.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Partner with Development, QA, Product, and Architecture teams to improve platform reliability and deployment processes.
  • Evaluate and implement modern DevOps, automation, cloud, and observability technologies.
  • Contribute to standards, documentation, and operational best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or related roles.
  • Strong experience with Azure cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and automation.
  • Experience supporting containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience supporting PostgreSQL environments in production.
  • Experience supporting multi-tenant SaaS platforms and cloud-native application architectures.
  • Strong understanding of monitoring, observability, incident response, and platform reliability practices.
  • Experience supporting enterprise software, SaaS platforms, ERP systems, or other business-critical applications is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
