Summary
DevOps Engineer IV supporting an intelligence-community program: builds Infrastructure as Code with Python, Ansible, and Terraform; runs Kubernetes, Docker, and NiFi; manages GitLab CI/CD with Argo CD on AWS; and hardens/complies RHEL systems. Work is on-site in a SCIF; requires active TS/SCI with CI polygraph and on-call rotation.
Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer IV to join our team!
The Work:
- Develop Infrastructure as Code and scripting to automate tasks, provision managed services, and build tools using Python, Ansible, and Terraform
- Patch, harden, and maintain compliance of RHEL systems
- Install, configure, and performance-tune Kubernetes, Docker Compose, NiFi, and cloud-native logging and metrics collection tools
- Manage CI/CD pipelines that build, test, and deploy code using GitLab runners and Argo CD
- Manage commercial cloud computing platforms (AWS)
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
- 12 years or more of professional experience; or 10 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree
- Active TS/SCI with CI polygraph within the last 7 years
- Little to no work from home; a significant portion or all work is performed in a SCIF
Required:
- Able to support an on-call rotation
Desired (at least 2 of the following):
- Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure (EC2, Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS, Event Router, Athena, Step Functions) using Terraform and auto scaling
- AWS networking principles, including VPCs, NAT gateways, and internet gateways
- Develop and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and ensure system uptime
- Kubernetes experience with a focus on EKS, ECS, and/or Fargate
