DevOps Engineer

Job Descriptions

1. Develop and optimize frontend applications using React, Redux Toolkit, and TanStack Router.

2. Design, build, and maintain backend services using AdonisJS and Laravel.

3. Design and implement secure and scalable RESTful APIs for inter-system communication.

4. Write TypeScript code across the application stack to ensure type consistency from backend to frontend.

5. Design and implement network segmentation and isolation, including VPCs, subnets, security groups, and network policies.

6. Manage private network infrastructure, including NAT Gateways, bastion hosts, and VPN connectivity.

7. Configure and maintain firewalls, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), and security groups to protect infrastructure and applications.

8. Develop, implement, and regularly test backup strategies and disaster recovery plans.

9. Actively participate in technical architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making.

10. Maintain system quality through refactoring, continuous improvement, and the implementation of engineering best practices.

11. Develop and maintain automated unit and integration tests to ensure feature reliability.

12. Maintain API documentation and technical specifications to facilitate system maintenance and team onboarding.

Requirements

Must Have

1. Solid experience developing and maintaining production applications using React.

2. Strong knowledge of React Hooks and experience managing complex application state using Redux or Redux Toolkit.

3. Experience building backend services using MVC frameworks, preferably AdonisJS; experience with Laravel is also considered.

4. Proficiency in TypeScript and experience applying it across application development.

5. Good understanding of RESTful API design and fundamental distributed systems concepts.

6. Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL and basic query optimization.

7. Understanding of cloud networking and infrastructure security, including VPCs, subnets, security groups, firewalls, and VPNs.

8. Understanding of backup, restoration, and disaster recovery principles.

9. Familiarity with Git, code reviews, and collaborative software development practices.

Nice to Have

1. Experience with TanStack Query (React Query) and/or TanStack Router.

2. Experience with queue systems and caching solutions such as Redis.

3. Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and/or Kubernetes.

4. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or equivalent.

5. Experience configuring WAF, monitoring, and logging tools such as Cloudflare, Grafana, and Prometheus.

6. Experience working with medium- to large-scale production systems.
