We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to become part of an expanding technology team dedicated to developing, maintaining, and enhancing essential cloud platforms.

This position plays a crucial role within a contemporary AWS environment, focusing on maintaining system security, resilience, and high availability while facilitating continuous delivery and operational efficiency. You will engage with cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD processes, monitoring, incident response, and platform reliability, working in close collaboration with the engineering team.

Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000

What you'll do

  • Build and manage cloud infrastructure to support various applications and services.
  • Automate processes to enhance efficiency and reliability of deployments.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline development workflows.
  • Monitor system performance and respond to incidents to ensure uptime and reliability.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve platform functionality and security.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.
  • Proficiency in AWS services and cloud architecture.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Experience with automation and configuration management tools.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.

Nice to have

  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
