Summary

Design and automate secure, cloud-native platforms for Fortune 500 clients across banking, energy, healthcare, and media using AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Job Context

Are you passionate about building the infrastructure that enables digital transformation at scale? Summit Crest Global is a leading strategy and technology consultancy, and our DevOps practice is at the heart of our mission to drive innovation for our clients. In this role, you will not work on a single product; you will design, automate, and secure cloud-native platforms for a diverse portfolio of Fortune 500 clients across banking, energy, healthcare, and media. You will be a key technical expert, implementing the tools and practices that allow global enterprises to deliver software faster, more reliably, and more securely.

Job Responsibility

  • Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, and/or GCP using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
  • Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, security scanning, and deployment processes across multiple environments.
  • Containerize applications and manage orchestration using Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE) and Docker.
  • Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog) to ensure system health and performance.
  • Collaborate with development and security teams to embed security best practices into the DevOps lifecycle (DevSecOps).
  • Automate operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the entire stack: hardware, software, application, and network.

Experience Requirement

  • 3+ years of professional experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or infrastructure automation role.

  • Solid experience building and maintaining CI-CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

  • Familiarity with security best practices and tools in the cloud (IAM, Secrets Management, Security Scanning).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for automation.
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
