DevOps Engineer
Summary
Deploys cloud infrastructure, automates CI/CD pipelines, and maintains Kubernetes clusters to keep production systems running smoothly.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role.
- Experience working with IAM, EC2, S3, VPC, Cloud Front, RDS, EKS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Redis.
- Proficient with git and git workflows.
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL.
- Automation scripting (using scripting languages such as Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
- Problem-solving attitude.
- Collaborative team spirit.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
We are looking for someone able to
- Deploy updates and fixes.
- Provide technical support.
- Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience.
- Perform root cause analysis for production errors.
- Drive the architectural decisions and technical design of software solutions, considering factors such as scalability, maintainability, and security.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues.
- Develop scripts to automate visualization.
- Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Build and support continuous integration (CI), continuous delivery (CD), and continuous testing activities.
Other valuable skills
- Good knowledge of Node or Python.
- Experience working with GCP Cloud functions.
- Experience with the software maintenance of company-provided equipment (MDM).
- Security officer or similar role experience.
- Experience with Linux-based infrastructures, Linux/Unix administration.
