DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)
Summary
The DevOps Engineer will manage hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure, including CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and AI/GPU server environments. The role focuses on automation, infrastructure as code, and maintaining high availability across development and production systems.
- Manage cloud, on-premises, and privately hosted cloud infrastructure across Dev, STG, UAT, and Production environments.
- Manage Linux/ Windows servers, virtual machines, containers, storage, networking, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, load balancers, reverse proxies and Kubernetes clusters.
- Manage and maintain GitHub and GitLab environments, including cloud-hosted and on-premises GitLab.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, and self-hosted runners.
- Manage Docker/ containerized applications and container registries.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar technologies.
- Manage on-premises AI/GPU servers, AI services, model-serving infrastructure, and AI integrations.
- Support deployment and operation of internal AI services and their integration with business applications.
- Manage hybrid connectivity between cloud and on-premises environments.
- Implement infrastructure monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability using tools such as Grafana(LGTM), Elasticsearch(ELK/EFK), Prometheus, or similar.
- Manage infrastructure security, access control, secrets, certificates, backups, and disaster recovery.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, deployment, performance, and availability issues.
- Automate operational tasks and continuously improve deployment and infrastructure processes.
- Maintain infrastructure documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, capacity planning, and production releases.
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or a similar role.
- Strong experience with Linux and/or Windows Server and/or Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and CI/CD.
- Strong experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, GitLab, and GitLab CI/CD.
- Experience managing self-hosted/on-premises GitLab and CI/CD runners.
- Practical experience with Microsoft Azure or another major cloud platform.
- Experience with on-premises and hybrid infrastructure.
- Good understanding of networking, DNS, VPN, firewalls, reverse proxies, load balancing, and SSL/TLS.
- Experience with Terraform, Bicep, or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Experience with monitoring and logging platforms.
- Strong scripting/automation skills using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of infrastructure and application security.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with GPU/NVIDIA infrastructure and AI/ML workloads.
- Experience with IAC using Bicep
- Experience operating LLM/AI inference services and APIs.
- Experience with private cloud / on-premises cloud platforms.
- Experience with Azure Container Registry (ACR).
- Experience with Traefik, NGINX, or IIS.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Redis, Elasticsearch, or MongoDB from an infrastructure perspective.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps, disaster recovery, and cloud cost optimization.
- Relevant Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, or GitLab certifications.
