DevOps Engineer (Microsoft Azure)
Summary
Designs and maintains Azure cloud infrastructure, AKS clusters, and CI/CD pipelines using Terraform and Azure DevOps, with a focus on automation, security, and observability.

- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
- Build, maintain, and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments for containerized applications.
- Manage SQL and MongoDB databases, including backup, performance tuning, and scalability.
- Develop, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and related tools.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
- Deploy, manage, and monitor Apache Kafka and Kafka Connect environments across SaaS/PaaS platforms.
- Develop automation scripts using Bash, PowerShell, and other scripting languages.
- Implement monitoring and observability solutions to ensure system reliability, performance, and proactive alerting.
- Integrate DevSecOps tools to enhance code quality, vulnerability management, and security compliance.
- Ensure cloud infrastructure and deployment processes adhere to security best practices and governance standards.
- Collaborate closely with software development teams to streamline release pipelines, resolve production issues, and continuously improve deployment processes.
- Support operational excellence through incident response, troubleshooting, and ongoing platform enhancements.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to provide support for critical production incidents when required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in a DevOps, Cloud, or Platform Engineering role, supporting software development teams.
- Hands‑on experience managing cloud infrastructure, preferably on Microsoft Azure .
- Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) , Docker, and containerized application environments.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Azure DevOps.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and modern cloud-native technologies.
- Solid understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Experience with .NET, Python, JavaScript, Datadog, Snyk, or Apache Kafka will be considered an advantage.
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, or cloud technologies are a plus.
