DevOps Engineer

Join a newly formed cross-location engineering team driving a Proof of Concept (PoC) for an open-source workload automation platform, with the aim to evolve this PoC into a scalable, production-grade solution.
You’ll play a critical role in architecting, building, and operating the platform and the supporting automation and CI/CD ecosystem with strong emphasis on reliability, security, and observability.

- 5+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
- Proven operational experience with Kubernetes in production or real-world deployments.
- Hands-on experience with one or more of the following:
- Workload Automation
- Kafka
- Apache Airflow
- Strong coding/scripting experience (e.g., Python, Java, or similar).
- Demonstrated experience embedding testing into delivery practices, not just post-facto.
- Excellent communication skills to work across time zones with distributed teams.
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with DevOps toolchain: Jenkins, Ansible, GitHub/GitHub Actions.
- Experience with scaling PoC solutions into enterprise-ready platforms (e.g., hardening, automation improvements, monitoring, operational readiness).
