DevOps Engineer
Summary
Build and deploy containerized apps on Kubernetes for banking clients, set up CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshoot production issues.

You are expected to be able to:
- Create and customize Dockerfiles for backend and web frontend applications.
- Deploy applications to Kubernetes according to the bank's environment standards.
- Manage Kubernetes manifests: Deployment, Service, ConfigMap, Secret, Ingress, and Namespace.
- Configure environment variables, configuration, and secret management according to security standards.
- Configure readiness probes, liveness probes, resource requests/limits, and autoscaling.
- Support application troubleshooting in Kubernetes: log checking, pod restarts, image issues, and connectivity issues.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar tools) for build, test, package, deploy, and rollback.
- Support code quality scanning (SonarQube), dependency scanning, secret scanning, and container image scanning.
- Support deployment to development, SIT, UAT, staging, and production environments based on approval.
- Create release notes, deployment guides, and rollback plans; support post-deployment monitoring and hotfixes.
- Experience as a DevOps/Platform Engineer, ideally on banking, fintech, or digital transaction projects.
- Familiar with change management processes and approval-based deployment in enterprise/banking environments.
- Basic understanding of application monitoring, logging, and observability.
- Able to work on a man-days basis with clear timesheet and progress reporting, including willingness to deploy outside working hours when required.
- Willing to sign an NDA and comply with information security policies and production data access restrictions.
