DevOps Engineer - Ansible | CI/CD | AWS | Python - Onsite 5 Days a Week

We’re seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a fast-moving UK-based technology consultancy that specialises in solving complex business problems through intelligent software solutions. You’ll play a key role in building and maintaining deployment pipelines, managing cloud environments, and driving automation across the development life cycle.

Security Clearance

UKIC DV clearance is required. Candidates must already hold this level of clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable software delivery
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Ansible and Terraform
  • Manage and optimise cloud environments on AWS
  • Develop scripts and tools in Python to support automation and monitoring
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment workflows
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Ansible for configuration management
  • Proven track record in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Hands‑on experience with AWS services and cloud architecture
  • Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation
  • Familiarity with containerisation tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive mindset
