Job Description
The DevOps Engineer is responsible for the quality, security, and reliability of our infrastructure, acting as a critical "Launch Gate" for our deployment processes. You will be tasked with supporting system scale, establishing robust monitoring, and ensuring comprehensive data backups. This role focuses on bridging the gap between development and infrastructure to ensure high-quality product delivery and system stability.
Key Duties & Accountabilities
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure to support organizational scale and performance.
- Serve as the "Launch Gate" by enforcing strict quality, security, and reliability standards before any code deployment.
- Develop and maintain automated monitoring systems to track system health and performance metrics.
- Establish and test rigorous backup and disaster recovery protocols to ensure data integrity.
- Implement engineering best practices and security coding standards within the infrastructure workflow.
- Collaborate with backend and frontend teams to define technical requirements and provide scalable solutions.
- Monitor and review system integrations and technical designs to manage technical risks.
- Evaluate and integrate new tools and frameworks to improve overall team efficiency and product quality.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, SRE, or in a similar infrastructure-focused role.
- Experience in AZURE preferred.
- Strong technical background in cloud infrastructure and application development, specifically with scalable and secure systems.
- Hands‑on experience with API design, software architecture, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Deep understanding of monitoring tools, backup strategies, and reliability engineering.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and the full software development lifecycle.
- Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and decision‑making skills.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional engineering and business teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
