We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to keep our production systems stable and make our deployment process faster and more reliable. You’ll work across development and operations: automating releases, resolving production issues, and building tools that cut down errors and improve the experience of the people who use our systems.
What you’ll do
- Deploy updates and fixes to production, and provide Level 2 technical support
- Perform root cause analysis on production incidents and drive them to resolution
- Write scripts and automation for deployments, configuration management and change processes
- Build internal tools that reduce recurring errors and improve the customer experience
- Develop software that integrates with internal back-end systems
- Create and maintain procedures for troubleshooting and system maintenance
What we’re looking for
- 2-5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
- Experience with Ansible and Terraform for automation and infrastructure as code
- Experience with containers (Podman or Docker) and artifact repositories (Nexus)
- Working knowledge of Linux, databases and SQL
- Scripting ability (e.g. Bash, Python)
- Strong problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting
- Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
Good to have
- Experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift
- Monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- Familiarity with Git workflows and Confluence for documentation
- Experience in a production support or on-call environment
