DevOps Engineer

Summary

Build and maintain cloud and on-prem DevOps pipelines, Kubernetes clusters, and automated deployment workflows for climate-tech infrastructure.

  • Manage cloud and on-prem environments (Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, VMs).
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, security, and deployment environments.
  • Improve deployment automation, system reliability, and observability.

2. Deployment & Release Engineering

  • Develop and maintain deployment scripts, installation packages, upgrade/rollback procedures, and release documentation.
  • Support private, restricted-network, and air-gapped deployments.
  • Standardize deployment processes through automation and reusable workflows.

3. Edge & System Integration

  • Integrate with BMS/DCIM, IoT gateways, and customer systems.
  • Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines using Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT, REST APIs, databases, and file interfaces.
  • Monitor data quality, connectivity, and system health.
  • Leverage AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Pi) for scripting, troubleshooting, documentation, and workflow automation.
  • Build lightweight engineering tools for deployment validation, testing, and log analysis.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with product, engineering, data science, project teams, customers, and vendors to deliver deployments and resolve technical issues.
  • Produce deployment documentation, technical reports, and project updates.
  • Develop domain knowledge in data centers, BMS/DCIM, HVAC, cooling, power, and related infrastructure.

Requirement

  • 2-6 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, Deployment Engineering, or System Integrationn
  • Hands-on experience with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Shell/Python, CI/CD, logging, monitoring, and networking
  • Familiar with cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, or Alibaba Cloudd
  • Experience supporting private cloud, restricted-network, or air-gapped deployments
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Experience using AI coding tools to improve engineering productivity
  • Good technical documentation and reporting skills
