DevOps Engineer

In this role you will help shape the enterprise-wide DevOps strategy for a leading London-based financial firm. You’ll work within the Infrastructure Team to enable scalable Azure solutions and robust CI/CD practices. You will tackle automation, infrastructure as code, and containerized workloads to support fast, reliable delivery for trading and banking workloads. • Design and implement the enterprise DevOps strategy aligned with business needs
• Manage and evolve the Azure-based infrastructure landscape to enable rapid, secure delivery
• Develop and maintain IaC workflows (Terraform, related tooling) and CI/CD pipelines
• Automate build, release, and deployment processes across microservices architectures
• Leverage Docker/Kubernetes for containerized workloads and manage monitoring/observability (Splunk/Prometheus/Datadog)
• Implement IAM, API Gateways, and security controls as part of DevOps deliverables
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet banking/financial-market requirements
• Provide ongoing improvement and automation to support fast-changing business objectives

• Background in Banking/ Financial Markets/Investment Banking is essential
• Experience with Azure, Linux, IaC (Terraform), CI/CD, Git, Azure DevOps, Ansible, Build and Release, Docker, Kubernetes
• Proficiency in scripting/power tools (PowerShell, Python, Go, Git Bash)
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Splunk, Prometheus, Datadog) and microservices
• Knowledge of SQL and Agile methodologies
• Familiarity with API Gateways and IAM concepts
