DevOps Engineer

In this role you will help design and implement an enterprise-wide DevOps strategy within a growing investment firm. You will join the Infrastructure Team to enable Azure and cloud-native capabilities that support business objectives. You will tackle operations and automation challenges across Linux, IaC, CI/CD, and containerized environments to improve reliability and delivery speed. This position offers exposure to the financial markets domain and cross-office collaboration, with a clear impact on scale and efficiency. • Design and implement the enterprise-wide DevOps strategy aligned with business needs
• Work within the Infrastructure Team to enable Azure-centric infrastructure and automation
• Develop and maintain IaC practices (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines
• Manage containerized deployments with Docker and Kubernetes
• Automate build, release, and platform operations using appropriate tooling
• Monitor and troubleshoot systems using logging/observability tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support rapid delivery in financial domains
• Support security, IAM, and API gateway considerations within the DevOps scope

• Background in Banking/ Financial Markets/Investment Banking essential
• Experience with Azure, Linux, IaC, Terraform, CI/CD, Git, Azure DevOps
• Hands-on with Ansible, Build and Release processes, Docker, Kubernetes
• Scripting and programming familiarity (PowerShell, Python, Go, Git Bash)
• Experience with observability tools (Splunk/Prometheus/Datadog)
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture, SQL, Agile, API gateways, IAM
