ROLE SUMMARY:
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with 3–6 years of hands-on experience, with strong expertise in Azure DevOps and a solid understanding of end-to-end DevOps practices. The candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, supporting Azure environments, improving engineering processes, and collaborating closely with Development, QA, Infrastructure, and other stakeholders. Strong communication, troubleshooting, ownership, and collaboration skills are essential
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Manage Azure DevOps Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, and Boards.
- Develop and maintain YAML-based pipelines and automated deployment workflows.
- Manage source control using Git, including branching, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Automate infrastructure and application deployments across environments.
- Work with Azure services for application deployment, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, ARM, or equivalent tools.
- Develop automation using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Monitor and troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, and application issues.
- Apply DevOps, security, and release-management best practices.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to continuously improve delivery processes.
- Participate in production deployments, incident resolution, and root-cause analysis.
MUST HAVE:
- 3–6 years of hands-on DevOps experience.
- Strong practical experience with Azure DevOps.
- Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps CI/CD Pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with YAML pipelines.
- Strong understanding of Git and source-control practices.
- Good understanding of DevOps concepts and CI/CD lifecycle.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with deployment automation and environment management.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code – preferably Terraform.
- Scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with Development, QA, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders.
GOOD TO HAVE:
- Azure certification, particularly AZ-400.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/AKS.
- Experience with Azure Key Vault, RBAC, Managed Identity, and Azure Monitor.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps and security scanning tools.
- Experience with Terraform at an advanced level.
- Experience with monitoring/logging tools such as Application Insights or Grafana.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
