Sydney-based contract DevOps Platform Engineer building, maintaining, and securing enterprise CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps Server, Jenkins, Git, YAML) and administering JFrog Artifactory/Xray for critical banking and payments systems. Automates operations with PowerShell, Python, or Shell and implements DevSecOps controls.

Seeking an experienced DevOps Platform Engineer to manage and enhance enterprise CI/CD platforms supporting critical banking and payments systems.
Key focus areas:
Build, maintain, and secure CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Server, Jenkins, Git, and YAML.
Administer JFrog Artifactory and Xray, including repositories, permissions, artifact promotion, migrations, and vulnerability scanning.
Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Shell scripting.
Support platform reliability through monitoring, troubleshooting, upgrades, patching, disaster recovery, and high-availability processes.
Implement DevSecOps controls including RBAC, least privilege, audit controls, secrets management, and vulnerability management.
Produce technical documentation, runbooks, implementation plans, and recovery procedures.
Ideal candidate:
8+ years in IT with 5+ years in DevOps/CI/CD engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Server, Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory/Xray, Git, scripting, Windows/Linux administration, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
Experience supporting banking, payments, or other mission-critical environments with strict uptime, security, and operational requirements.
