About the Role The Senior Software Engineer, DevOps is part of the Infrastructure Engineering team and reports to the DevOps Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing scalable infrastructure and CI/CD systems that support Binance.US's critical platform services. You will collaborate closely with Software Engineering, Security, SRE, and Product teams to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient deployment pipelines and cloud infrastructure, enabling high system availability and performance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or similar). Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable software delivery across multiple environments. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system reliability, observability, and incident response practices. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar. Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks, outages, and reliability risks. Implement and enforce DevOps best practices, including infrastructure as code, version control, and release management. Partner with Security teams to ensure infrastructure meets compliance and security standards.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineering. Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Go, or Bash. Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI. Strong understanding of system design, networking, and distributed systems. Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog. Ability to work independently on complex technical projects with minimal supervision.
