About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated Dev Ops Engineer to join their infrastructure team based in Randburg. This role is essential for enhancing and maintaining the operational efficiency, scalability, and reliability of their software development and deployment pipelines. You will work closely with development and operations teams to automate processes, manage cloud infrastructure, and implement best practices for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD). Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment processes. Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure) ensuring high availability and performance. Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (Ia C) using tools like Terraform or Cloud Formation. Implement and manage containerization platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes. Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot deployment issues and optimize application performance. Develop monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system health and identify potential problems proactively. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in a Dev Ops, SRE, or Systems Administration role. Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their core services. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Azure Dev Ops). Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code tools. Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) and familiarity with Linux environments.
