Job Summary
The Cloud DevOps Architect is responsible for the assessment, design, and engineering of DevOps solutions in complex technology environments. The role designs and builds DevOps technical solutions for cloud-native and on-prem infrastructure, optimizes CI/CD pipelines, automates infrastructure provisioning, and ensures system reliability, security, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, design, and implement DevOps solutions in dynamic cloud environments.
- Develop DevOps architectures for cloud-native and microservices-based systems.
- Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Manage containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Fargate).
- Implement monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch).
- Ensure system security, IAM policies, and key management.
- Collaborate within Agile environments (JIRA, Scrum).
Required Technical Expertise
- Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP, Digital Ocean
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation
- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Fargate
- CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodeDeploy, BitBucket
- Security: AWS ACM, IAM, KMS, SonarQube, SAST/DAST
- Scripting: Python, Bash, Groovy, AWS CLI
- Monitoring: Grafana, Prometheus, InfluxDB, Site24x7
- Systems Administration: Linux and Windows
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. At least 4 years of experience as Cloud Architect or Cloud Engineer with strong DevOps expertise.
