Summary
Project-based (3-month contract) DevOps engineer at PT Peruri Digital Security in Jakarta: deploying and configuring applications on servers and containers, administering Linux servers, monitoring performance, handling network/firewall setup, and scripting deployment automation while working with developers on releases.
- Deploy and configure applications on servers, both directly on application servers and using containers
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers, including patching, backup, and user access management
- Monitor server and application performance (CPU, memory, disk, network) and respond to incidents
- Configure and troubleshoot network settings such as IP addressing, DNS, ports, firewall rules, and reverse proxy
- Write scripts to automate deployment and routine operational tasks
- Collaborate with developers on releases and on resolving environment-related issues
- Prepare and maintain documentation for deployment procedures, server configuration, and troubleshooting guides

Bachelor’s degree S1 in Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field

Minimum 5 year of experience in system administration, DevOps, application support, or a similar role

Experience deploying applications to servers, either directly to an application server or using containers

Proficient with Linux command line

Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, firewall)

Strong troubleshooting skills and able to work in a team

Knowledge of Java or JavaScript is a plus

Experience with scripting Bash/Python, Nginx, or cloud platforms is a plus

Willing to commit to a 3 month project-based contract
