DevOps Engineer
Summary
DevOps Engineer designs and implements Kubernetes-based CI/CD pipelines, automates deployments, and supports cloud infrastructure for a fintech client in Warsaw or Bratislava.
ProPursuit are currently looking for multiple DevOps Engineers to work with a world leading Fintech client of ours based in Warsaw, Poland or Bratislava, Slovakia.
These positions will allow hybrid remote work, requiring at least 1 day onsite per week.
You will be responsible for designing and implementing DevOps processes such as onboarding applications to Kubernetes, deployments, administration, automation, security, documentation and closely cooperating with Dev teams. You will closely cooperate with other team members to deliver product increments each sprint.
Your role:
- Working with application team to onboard and document applications internal/external interface requirements for Development, Testing and Production environments in Kubernetes.
- Providing technical guidance to application teams to take advantage of cloud technologies, and implement cloud infrastructure, as needed in coordination with other DevOps staff
- Implementing middleware application specific requirements as needed, ensuring that integration across components in the TI provided environment is functional
- Co-creating and managing application deployment processes
- Preparing environment for implementing application using scripting
- Working with development team and respecting Agile methodologies
- Cooperating with other IT departments within organization (security, middleware team, Linux team, ...) , participating in change management processes
Your profile:
- 3+ years work experience in DevOps area
- Great team player who by their presence can push the team to the next level.
- Excellent proficiency of CI/CD in Jenkins/Gitlab, Jira, Git, Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with gitops approach and ArgoCD
- A working understanding of code and script (at least one – JAVA, Bash, Python)
- Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and be familiar with cloud services (AWS, Azure,...)
- Communicative team player willing to learn and cooperate with others and drive for successful delivery
- Experience with onboarding spring boot and frontend applications to Kubernetes
- You must speak fluent English
