Devops Engineer
Summary
Builds and maintains GCP cloud infrastructure with Terraform, automates deployments via CI/CD, and manages Kubernetes-based applications while collaborating with developers to streamline releases.
- Build and maintain GCP cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
- Create and optimize automated deployment pipelines (CI/CD tools).
- Deploy and manage applications running in Docker and Kubernetes.
- Automate daily tasks and system operations using Python or Bash.
- Work closely with developers to make software releases smooth and fast.
- Help fix system failures, find their causes, and prevent them in the future.
- Write clear technical documentation and system guides for the team.
- Respond to and resolve production incidents as part of a 24/7 on-call rotation.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Software Engineering role.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or another major cloud provider.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, specifically Terraform.
- Proficient knowledge of container technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes (GKE).
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.
- Experience in building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Understanding of monitoring, logging, and observability practices.
- A strong motivation to automate manual processes and collaborate closely with development teams.
